I like to prop my head up on a small Spinal Roller to enhance the lengthening effects. Roll the back up and down and from side to side. This is done easily and gently with the intention to lengthen, loosen, and limber the spine and back.

 

A small Spinal Roller is under the hips while the spine sinks and elongates. Surrender your back to the weight of your body and let it sink towards the floor. Rock and roll and press the back gently against the floor. Feel for tension, ache, and stiffness and roll those sensations away.
